I called on your name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: “Do not close your ears to my cry for relief.” You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.” O Lord, you took up my case; you redeemed my life.
Biblical Truth: By faith we can always count on Gods ear and grace to quiet our fear.
‘So do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel,’ declares the LORD. ‘I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid. I am with you and will save you,’ declares the LORD.
Biblical Truth: The promises of God are enough to extinguish fear and grief, we will not surrender to difficulties or troubles that threaten us, but will turn to God for the security that only He can provide.
When you do what is right, you will be made secure. Your leaders will not be mean to you. You will not have anything to be afraid of. You will not be terrified anymore. Terror will not come near you.
Biblical Truth: When the Lord reigns in your life evil oppression is put in its place and we are free of fear.
Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west.
We are the church created for His glory; we are bound together with Christ and have nothing to fear.
But he led his own people like a flock of sheep, guiding them safely through the wilderness. He kept them safe so they were not afraid; but the sea covered their enemies.
When our paths seem dark and dangerous God is able to lead us through them safely. God can use the same path that leads us to safety to conquer our enemies.
With his great power the LORD warned me not to follow the road which the people were following. He said, “Do not join in the schemes of the people and do not be afraid of the things that they fear. Remember that I, the LORD Almighty, am holy; I am the one you must fear.”
The Lord is our Maker, make Him the object of your fear and stand in awe of His supreme power, which overshadows the fear of our enemies.
Do not be excessively righteous and do not be overly wise. Why should you ruin yourself? Do not be excessively wicked and do not be a fool. Why should you die before your time? It is good that you grasp one thing and also not let go of the other; for the one who fears God comes forth with both of them.
Let wisdom, which comes from having a worshipful heart for God, be your guide when making decisions in order to protect your christian character and witness.
